Realistic Touch and Tone
The unique "Graded Hammer Effect 3" keys use a weighted and balanced key system to duplicate the character of a real grand piano. The touch weight is graduated through the scale to emulate the "feel" of a grand piano. Combine this with two velocity sensors accurately measuring even subtle differences in key stroke and you end up with a true piano feel, from fingers to ears.
All Yamaha Clavinovas use Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation and real stereo sampling for the ultimate in instrument realism.
